About

Where to begin? I've been an independent filmaker for about 10 years now. It started with a small handheld camera and some really good friends, who were brave enough to step in front of the lens and trust in my idiotic vision. It grew into filming a full length feature film, that premiered at the Grant Theater in Elizabeth, PA in front of a full house. That film, "Out of Tune", went on to be sent to film festivals worldwide to compete throughout 2013-2014. We still like to mix it up, and film short stories as well, as evident by our halloween short story, "The Butterfly Dream". My second feature film, VIER, did even better, with a packed house at the theatre, and going off to compete at even more film festivals. Recently finished work on my third feature, "Take Your Time", which released on May 7, 2016.

My filmaking style is very loose and organic. I like to let the actors have alot of control over their performances, to really let their personality shine. I find they inhabit their characters with a much greater passion when they have some creative control. I film using a camera rig with a Canon t2i, an external monitor and boom mic, as well as a Canon HD and a Panasonic HD video camera. I edit in Sony Vegas, and utilize Adobe After Effects and HitFilm Ultimate for visual effects.

“Unlike all the other art forms, film is able to seize and render the passage of time, to stop it, almost to possess it in infinity. I’d say that film is the sculpting of time.”

– Andrei Tarkovsky
